TNA Slammiversary

I  wasn't recording, but I was there live! Blank and I guess Sunsweet critique my presence at Slammiversary.

playback was okay , and also Call of Cthulhu: The Fall Without End

we talked about payback, and stuff

Also, since the Call of Cthulhu game was not recorded I will type out a summary below.

see, right below!

The year is 1931, and our heroes were mountain climbers in a race to the summit of Mt McKinley. There were three teams: Blank and Sunsweet, IBeforeE and StrikingYak, and Oatgan and myself. There was prize money involved, because the United States government needed heroes to inspire people during the Great Depression.

The night before climbing, they discovered a local team of three brothers had set out before them and already had a day's head start, not to be outdone by outsiders. There were two main paths up the mountain: the difficult climb and the easier climb. Oatgan and I decided on the more difficult climb while everyone else took the easy path.

Minutes into our climb, we encountered one of the brothers. He was crazed and snowblind, attacking anything that moved, including us. He was taken down with a rifle shot, and we were unfazed - hey, we rolled well. The rest of the climb before we reached the cloud line was mostly uneventful, except for Blank and Sunsweet finding a dead body. It was the second brother, his head being attached by a thread and one arm completely missing. IBeforeE and StrikingYak decided this would be a great opportunity to get ahead of Blank and Sunsweet.

The real fun started at the overhang and Wickersham's Wall. We all encountered VERTIGINOUS HORRORS!! Nine foot worms the size of tree trunks that scale mountains with nightmarish speed were now on the hunt. I took one out by digging my axe into it, jumping off the mountain, and letting go of the axe while praying my partner Oatgan had anchored the rope. At Wickersham's Wall the climbers were met with a Vertiginous Horror, and then a second, and then a third... The teams split up in an effort to not get eaten or knocked off the mountain.

As we are all nearing the top, Oatgan and I encounter the beginnings of a storm. I succumb to the elements and collapse, forcing Oatgan to carry my unconscious body to the nearest shelter, which was a nearby cave with a totally-not-suspicious blue light emanating from it. On the other side of the mountain, IBeforeE and StrikingYak find dozens of the Vertiginous Horrors and IBeforeE gets the idea to cause an avalanche and anchor himself to try and clear the way. Somehow, this works and they find their way to a totally-not-suspicious cave.

   Inside the cave, shit happens.

-Yak kills me with a grenade, while Oatgan sneaks away
- Blank and Sunsweet enter the cave last, and discover Niel and Yak covered in my gore
- Oatgan, after sneaking back, shoots IBeforeE and blows his head clean off, and reaches the summit first
- The last brother is found at the summit, his wrists slit and his body frozen.
- I forget why, but Blank stabs Sunsweet in the throat
- Yak uses IBeforeE's corpse like a sled and rides down the mountain and makes it to the bottom first, claiming prize money and fame. I did not prepare for this, but fuck it I can roll with it.
- Blank and Oatgan partner up because they are the last two people left on the mountain, so they investigate the mysterious blue light inside the cave.

Inside the cave, they find the walls and ceiling absolutely covered with the vertiginous horrors and in the center of the room is an obsidian obelisk above a pool of what looks like motor oil. They decide to dive into the pool, and come out on the other side. In front of them is an alien world populated entirely by the vertiginous horrors. Out of place stars and the planet Earth are in the night sky, and there appears to be no discernible way to get back to the mountain.

Hope you enjoyed the read and sorry you couldn't listen. This was definitely the most fun session yet!

Call of Cthulhu - Dead Man Stomp

We are back with another round of content for all you wonderful people. This time we play Dead Man Stomp. We go back to the 1920's in order to stop a trumpet from raising the dead, and boy howdy do we succeed!

(note: My audio gets unforgivably bad at some points, and no amount of editing could fix it. I am truly sorry and promise to take the kazoo out of my mouth next time.)

Players: Blank, Sunsweet, Niel, and StrikingYak

Keeper: Doo-Wop Duodenum

This adventure is taken from the Call of Cthulhu 6th Edition rulebook.

Delta Green: Enter the Dragon

There is absolutely no discussion of wrestling, Legends House, Total Divas, or anything related to wrestling in this episode. I, Slapnuts, ran a game of Delta Green for Blank, IBeforeE, and Striking Yak.

Their mission was to investigate a fellow member of the organization who had been acting strangely and determine if he needed to be eliminated. Simple enough, right?

Episode 11 - RIP Asparagus

On a wicked night, we recorded a podcast and hoo boy do we have a wicked pussycat for you! Open up your ears because it is time to kiss the skull while we talk about NXT, Smackdown, the ROH/New Japan show, Total Divas, Legends House, and your questions. We'll tell you how the gods kill and other things not of this world. I'm the one in the skull forest that's ready to battle for heaven. Sistinas.

A US and Tag Team Champion, Asparagus was a beloved dog that we will never forget for all of his accomplishments. He supported his friend, Daniel Bryan, when he needed him the most even buying his bad t-shirts. Thank you, Asparagus, for all of the work you've done and rest in piece, sweet pup. Oh yeah we talked about wrestling too.

Devcast 10: 11 visual pins

You thought it would be Sunsweet again this week, but it is in fact I, [Sex_Ferguson]! This week we talked about NXT, the releases of NXT, the first hour of Smackdown. Why does no one watch Smackdown? Even us who say we're gonna watch Smackdown? That's the power of Smackdown! We also talk about Wrestler Nudes and why Blank will not stop fucking bringing up wrestler nudes, holy shit dude. We did not talk about Total Divas this week because we watched Extreme Rules instead, MAYBE THINK TO NOT FUCKING AIR TOTAL DIVAS ON THE NIGHT OF A PPV E!? Whatever, it's a shorter show than usual so if you're taking one particularly long dump it'll go by relatively fast.

Alexander Rusev will crush you and everybody in your hometown if you don't listen to us.

Number 8: literally the worst

Uh-huh we review NXT, Smackdown, Scooby-Doo,  Secret Agent Club,  questions, and get sidetracked a whole lot.  Usually we have have our shit together but not this time.  Oh well. During the whole recording most of us were doing other things instead of paying attention.

Episode: Cesario Speedwagon

JoJoCast Episode 7: Cesario Speedwagon

No we are not dead (fucking manflurry), we are back, this time without a board game! We cover the last two weeks of NXT, Smackdown, and this week's Total Divas. Answer some questions and I edit a lot in this podcast, can you tell where they are? I hope so!

Also nothing else happened, nope, nuh uh.

BLANK STOP ASKING ME WHEN THE NEXT EPISODE WILL BE UP, I WORK.

(slapnuts edit: I am literally uploading this at work because my boss doesn't really care.)

Episode 5: a piece of asshole

This week we're reviewing NXT, Smackdown, a bad Hulk Hogan movie, and TOTAL DIVAS. This episode is a bit late because I went to Raw on Monday and was not able to edit, but I also had to work yesterday. Maybe next week will be better? Probably not. NXT was pretty fun this week with more Mojo Rawley antics and a pretty rad title match, Smackdown could barely hold our attention, Shadow Warriors exists, and Total Divas made me kind of sad. I edited the podcast while playing Bravely Default this week and while I am still fighting the SAME FUCKING BOSSES it is pretty fun. Come in and have a watch! We might not have an episode next week or not, I will have to see who I can get my hands on, but we will have a replacement for one should we not make one.

Alexander Rusev is the greatest wrestler of all time and I love him.

Devcast Episode 4: It's two-thirds as good as that N'Sync song.

THREE HOURS LONG. That's how long we went on this show. Blank and Slapnuts need to take shorter notes on movies. I need to take notes on movies or anything, really. I lost most of my work halfway through editing this so all of my original stuff that I edited in I forgot and now it's only a few things. NONETHELESS it's a show worth watching, we talk about NXT and why Mojo Rawley rawcks. We talk about Smackdown and how shitty of a person Natalya is. We talk about the double turn that happened on Total Divas. A SNEAK PREVIEW OF SCOOBY-DOO AND THE MYSTERY AT WRESTLEMANIA! The show ends with a lengthy review of Suburban Commando (Oh my goooooooooooood). I played Blazblue while I listened to this whole thing so I dunno what else we talked about besides that, but I do know how to do this. Come give the show a listen, also go see Turbo IN STORES ON BLU-RAY AND DVD NOW.

Also do no ask about an RSS Feed, Blank will figure that out when he figures it out.

(don't worry I think I figured it out) - slapnuts

Episode 3: I have a lot to say about Santa with Muscles

Like a bat straight outta hell, the Devcast is back! This is a very busy week with WWE as not only are we of course reviewing NXT and Smackdown, but the RETURN OF TOTAL DIVAS! We also review the WWE Slam City cartoons and why I hate sketch comedy for children. We review SANTA WITH MUSCLES for a whole hour! Slapnuts is gone this week so me and Blank still managed to fill two hours in the worst way possible, with a Hulk Hogan movie. Come and listen and ask questions or call us bads.

Episode 2: I played DMC4 during RAW

This week's NXT was a big cluster of stuff. Squash matches, debuting acid trips, and BACKSTAGE SEGMENTS! Listen and be amazed as Slapnuts, Blank, and I review this very perplexing episode of NXT. Smackdown was also a show that happened, with a very bizarre Shield segment. I watched the first episode of WWE countdown and forgot most of the things people said beyond repeating catchphrases and talking about how cool wrestlers are. The audio is also not bad, but I'm a bit lower than last week. I played DMC4 during Raw's main event, because jesus was that sucking the life out of me, so I needed to bust Agnus' head into the ground. Ask questions, follow us on twitter, call us pieces of shit, and try to get the Devcast taken down! Thanks for listening.

Episode 1: this is a thing

Episode 1 of the DevCast!

Due to the request for an NXT podcast, coincidence, and very little planning, THIS IS THE DEVELOPMENT PODCAST. On this podcast we will talk about such things as NXT, Smackdown, probably Total Divas, and maybe other stuff, who honestly knows? WE DON'T! On this show we reviewed NXT arRival and WWE Monday Night Raw. Blank answered some questions, Slapnuts tried to do chemistry, and I sweared a ton, stuttered overs words, and kept interrupting people because I am such an attention whore. Is it good, it is bad? It's probably okay. Listen and ask questions or whatevs, dogs. It's no like there aren't enough podcasts flying around PSP as is.
